To get away from the heat of the coastal area, from Miri, there is one of the most popular trips inland to the Bario Highlands. A 6-day excursion by light aircraft into and out of Bario (no roads!) where there is plenty of good trekking along proper paths to the surrounding longhouses and all in the cooler mountain air.

著名的峇里奥（Bario）高原位于砂拉越东北角科拉毕境内，海拔约3,500尺，是一个乌鲁人的部落。“Bario”源于科拉毕语“Bariew”，意思是“风”。
峇里奥被誉为“友善土地”，意思是当地社群非常友善热情，欢迎各地访客的莅临。
峇里奥是前往科拉毕高原的必经之处，主要因为这里有机场和简单的道路系统，可以通往邻近村庄。本区共有13个村子，历史最悠久的是甘榜峇里奥阿萨，是务必参观的长屋。长屋的厨房是木制的，板墙油黑发亮，是长年累月炊烟熏染的结果。
Day 1: Arrived – Check in – Salt Spring – Pa’ Umor – Pineapple Orchard (Lunch, Dinner)
Upon arrived Bario Airport, meet & greet with our local tour guide transfer to Bario Local Homestay for check in and lunch. After lunch, proceed to Salt Spring, Pa’ Umor and Pineapple Orchard. After tour, transfer back to homestay for dinner and free at own leisure.
Day 2: Arur Dalan Village – Prayer Mountain – Bario Asal Longhouse (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, take an approximately 10 minutes land transfer to Arur Dalan Village and trek about 1 ½ hours to the Prayer Mountain. Enjoy the beauty and the serenity Bario and trek back to Arur Dalan Village. Continue journey to visit the Bario Asal Longhouse (the 1st and oldest longhouse in Bario) and Lunch. After lunch, transfer back to homestay. Free with own leisure and dinner at homestay.
Day 3: Bario Market – Bario Airport – Departure (Breakfast)
After breakfast, free and easy until check out. Transfer to Bario Market. At the Market you can find the local Bario products (Bario rice, Bario salt, Bario pineapples) and souvenirs. Bid farewell and transfer to Bario Airport.
