Brunei is on the North West of the island and covers an area of around 5,765 sq.km with the South China Sea running along its coastline. The population is around 280,000 and is made up mainly of Malay, Chinese and Indians with a few indigenous groups.. The capital is Bandar Seri Begawan.
About 70% of Brunei’s land area is covered by unspoiled rainforest, and is home to many types of flora and fauna endemic only to the island of Borneo.
The Sultanate of Brunei is oil rich. Evidence of its wealth can been seen in the fabulous mosques that are located around the country.
Day 1: Miri City Tour
Upon arrival at Miri International Airport, meet and greet with our local guide and proceed for Miri City Tour. After tour, check in at your hotel and free with own leisure.
Day 2: Seria Oil Town Day Trip
Tour to Brunei LNG Plant in Lumut. Next, transfer to Seria Oilfield and stop at the Billionth Barrel Monument after visiting the Oil & Gas Discovery Centre. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to ex-Assistant British Resident in the 1940s, the Belait District Museum before passing through the local subsidized housing area at Kuala Belait where locals get to purchase good affordable house. Finally proceed to a local market, where you can enjoy the local famous ABC and fruit Rojak (at own expense) before returning to Miri accommodation.
Day 3: MYY-MZV / Lang’s & Deer Caves / Bat Exodus
Pick up and transfer to Miri Airport for flight to Mulu. Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, meet and greet with Mulu Guide. Check-in at selected accommodation. Tour will start by 2:00PM transfer to the park headquarter for registration. Walk 3KM plank walk to Deer and Lang Caves. Enjoy millions of bat exodus during late evening. Return to accommodation after tour.
Day 4: Penan Settlement / Wind & Clearwater Caves
After breakfast, take a boat visit to Batu Bungan – Penan Settlement, Wind and Clearwater Caves. Have a picnic lunch at Clearwater Summer hut and enjoy the cold-water spring. Take a boat ride return to accommodation around 1:30PM-2:00PM. Free and easy with own leisure and rest.
Day 5: Transfer Out
Free with own leisure after breakfast, later transfer to airport for flight departure for your next destination.
